Right now, customers have to manually update what file extensions will move over from Dynamics storage to SharePoint storage. It would be easier for the customer if they defined what file extensions they didn't want to move over instead of the ones they did want to move over.3 votesAdminPowerPack Pro (Admin, PowerObjects) responded
Thanks for the suggestion!! Please keep them coming.
Currently, files are moved to a folder in SharePoint organized by date. It would be great if they could be placed in the Document Library liked to the record the file came from.1 vote
Ken you are correct that attachments can be configured to move to SharePoint in a date folder structure.
However you can also configure attachments based on a regrading record folder structure. Check out the user guide to see more information about this setting in PowerAttachment.
Because of the limitations of the annotations entity, the sharepoint link in notes is text, which can be unpleasant to work with. Offer a chance to opt out of using PowerAttachment with notes.1 voteAdminPowerPack Pro (Admin, PowerObjects) responded
There is an option to exclude certain entities.
“Excluded Entities”. By default, PowerAttachment will move all attachments in the system to SharePoint. If there are attachments on certain records that you’d like to keep inside of Dynamics, you may choose to exclude them in the configuration page.
