Make pins outside of the radius display on the map
When pins fall outside of the radius they are not visible on the map. This makes it hard to see all of our pins and records on more of a global and national level. There is the ability to define a radius but circle shape limits what type of geographical area you can include at any given zoom level and radius size. In addition, the size and look of the radius can also take up a lot of screen restate and if you define the radius size to anything +999 to try and include as many pins as possible the…

Proximity Search using PowerMap
Proximity Searches or find nearby records within the defined proximity from the current location either by distance or time. By Distance: This will calculate the straight line distance between the current location and all the points which fall in the proximity parameter. I suppose that we have this feature in the Field service Mobile app. We can have this in our solution as well.

Records List
It would be good to show the results on the map as a list alongside the map with pins. You could see the record names in this list and if you select them, it would highlight the corresponding pin on the map. It would be nice to then have actions on this list such as adding them to a marketing list or running a workflow.

Make PowerMap mobile capable
Would be great for PowerMaps to work on mobile phones. Perhaps make powermaps into a powerapp.

PowerMap is a web resource that can be configured on a mobile device. We do not regression test PowerPacks on mobile platforms, but most PowerPacks should work just fine.
If you are noticing any issues please open a case with our PowerPack team. https://powercare3.powerobjects.net/AzureAuthentication/Login

Hi,
Thank you for posting an idea regarding PowerMap. We appreciate your input.
Currently, with our PowerMap add-on we do offer the ability to change the color and icon regarding the pins on the map.
Here is our user guide https://www.powerobjects.com/guides/powermap/#using_powermap regarding PowerMap under “using PowerMap” section of the user guide titled “Legend”.

Showing PowerMap button on the ribbon for any entity
Also it would be great if we have the PowerMap section on the record with the address pinned on it. Or else we can have a PowerMap button on the ribbon. When you click that button, it will display the Bing map and point the address of the entity on it. For ex: if we open an account record, let’s say when we click on the Powermap button , it will open up the Bing map with the address pinned on it.
1 voteThanks for your suggestion Shraddha. This is currently a feature in the add-on. Users can embed the PowerMap web resource on any form and the records address is highlighted by an orange pin.

Filter the list of entitties that we have in the PowerMap configuration.
Marketing list cannot be configured for PowerMaps. But we have added a list of all the entities in the PowerMap configuration window. This can confuse the customers or raise more questions. Can we filter the list and only add those which can be configured using the PowerMap solution.

Define a default Map Definition and Map Location per user
As a CRM end user I would like to ability to define what Map Definition and Map Location load by default when navigating and interacting with the PowerMap web resource. This is important because our organization has multiple teams in CRM using PowerMap and we noticed that the existing behavior is that the first Map Definition record and First Map Location record are what determines the the default behavior.
That means that all of our users currently have the same PowerMap experience regardless of what Map Deification and Map Location they find specific to their team and daily job. It…

Reorder driving directions way points
Anytime I am searching for driving directions in PowerMap I usually select more then 5 five points because I visit multiple clients throughout the day. Im aware that you can configure PowerMap to produce directions based on the shortest distance, or the shortest time it will take. In addition, you can optimize the driving directions to switch between those two methods of producing directions, but what is missing is the ability to decide what order you would like to visit the records in and being able to create that order, as well as having a set of directions created for…

Send route to phone
When creating a route in PowerMap, users would like to be able to send that route to their phone to follow via the GPS or mapping app. Printing out a route with turn-by-turn directions is so Mapquest circa 2001.

We agree that there is no need to use paper with business applications that can replace older processes.
You have received your feedback and will discuss ways to add more options for distributing driving directions.
