We could dev a custom channel tile for D365 for Marketing (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/developer/configure-tile-custom-channel) byu leveraging PowerSMS - this should be quick and we can add to the AppSource38 votes
If PowerSMS can trigger an SMS, it can also trigger a voice message or IVR call. CallFire and Twilio both have these linked services, which PowerSMS already has a connector to.2 votes
Add support for sending an sms message to a marketing list for batch.2 votes
WhatsApp is very very popular around the globe. Even though Mark Zuckerberg can read and analyse anything sent via WhatsApp it is becoming more popular with businesses every day.2 votes
Currently for messages sent from CRM via PowerSMS, the SMS ID (SID) is not included in the entry in the POS SMS entity. However, for inbound SMS the SID is present. Would be ideal to also have SID for outbound SMS for reporting purposes so we can report on deliverability using the Twilio API and joining data sets on SID.1 vote
Hi, Thank you for posting an Idea!
Correct this is currently a limitation and we are looking into this further as a possible feature enhancement.
Can we have an alert when we received an SMS? Or adjust the owner from PowerUser to the owner of the SMS sent message so that it will show up on the owner's timeline? As is, we have to go check it during the day to know if we have messages out there not being read.1 vote
Hi, Thank you for posting an idea regarding PowerSMS!
If the regarding is set the inbound SMS message should appear on the account, contact, or lead form.
Could you please provide further detail as to which timeline you would like this alert or notification of the received SMS message to appear on?
Currently PowerSMS can only send messages. We would like to have the ability to receive messages inside D365 for response back to the reply.1 vote
Great suggestion here for PowerSMS.We are reviewing this functionality internally, and we will use your feedback to further understand the use case.
If there are any updates or information related to this idea we will update this thread accordingly. Please encourage others to vote for this idea!
Consider adding a feature to allow multiple recipients on a single SMS, so as to create a group text (instead of individual messages to each number). This would allow users to create a group whereby all participants receive any responses by any other group members.1 vote
